These images have been collected over a period of
8 years while cruising the Australian East Coast.
Sunsets & Sunrises over water,
ocean, sea, and coast, in marinas, around boats, panoramas, vistas, & sky views, in many vivid colours ranging from light pink to crimson gold to orange and deep blue and red.
In nearly every case these sunset & sunrise images were photographed from the deck of the custom cruising yacht "Misty" of Gosford, during an extended East Australian coastal photographic sailing cruise.
This does introduce an interesting way of observing our countries sunset sky scenery from the water - to the land, rather than the usually land based photos.
The east Australian Queensland and N.S.W. coast produce some of the most stunning sunsets to be witnessed anywhere in this world.

The Bantry Bay Explosives Magazine Complex is located in Garigal National Park and managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. The Complex occupies an area of around 14 hectares on both the eastern and western shores of the bay and consists of numerous buildings, seawalls, tram lines, wharves, slipways, tracks, dams, and other above-surface remains as well as a number of archaeological sites. It is an important but little known part of the cultural, and natural, heritage of Sydney.
