Yellow Patch - Curtis Island 8

Yellow Patch 8

Serenity and Isolation

We have left behind us one of the most picturesque anchorages and met some of the most generous and friendly cruisers ever. A magical anchorage, Yellow Patch is named after its stunning pristine Ochre-coloured sand dunes and beach.

Crystal clear blue water and a sheltered bay provide an ideal location to drop anchor in the Tropic of Capricorn.

This Spot, Yellow Patch, can be difficult to access for deep keel yachts, however, the scenery, the fishing, and crabbing, make it more than worthwhile.

NAVIGATION NOTE

When last reported, all entry markers had been removed, however, Gladstone Marine Rescue is able to supply the most recent updated entry waypoints on request.
